Citizens’ Voices Steering Committee Minutes

Present: Tony, Malda, Shelly, Dave Boyce

David reported that the North Mankato Library series is on its way. He has a very solid, broad-based group of individuals and has held the first meeting. The meetings will continue at the library for now. They will meet again on February 1.

Envision 2020 - Tony reported that the steering committee meets one week following each big meeting. There was some concern expressed that the crowd in the second meeting was different from that of the first meeting. Perhaps that was affected by the change of day. In particular it was noticed that not as many Bellingham people were present. Shelly's reported that the publicity group had noticed that as well & will target them. Some discussion followed regarding the numerous comments made regarding the merger of the two cities. A TV show is starting on CCTV; Maureen Gustafson will lead it. The web site will include full notes. We need to discuss this topic further.

The next meeting is in two weeks, February 10th at 7:45 am.
