Review of Hutchinson event:

Mailed notices to about 200 on our mailing list  & the United Way mailing list as well as posters on the University campus, Old Main & other locations. Announced in the Free Press twice & the Centenary Methodist newsletter.

Attendance: Leadership - 32, Elected & appointed officials - 22, MSU Student Association, mainly economics & urban studies students - 28, Executives - 13, Evening general meeting - 70.

Peter is considering writing an article for the Tribune on Mankato.

*Shelly will forward to Tony a list of ways that Mankato is cooperating with N. Mankato & the counties, and the Youth Asset Chart.

*Anne will forward the Mankato Area Healthy Youth project

*Bill will give Tony the ACT 2000 report

*Tony will get the Foundation final report

Vision & Plan for the future

*All of us - Look at the Mankato City Website for 2004 Project.( Does N Mankato have something similar?) "Where are we going?"

Roger Gienette(sp?) has offered to help with community visioning.

How do we go forward?

How fast can we get going?

Where to the $ come to do this?

Bill & Tony suggested that we pick teams of two to visit the leaders of local communities. Mayors?

*Bill & Jonathan will pick the communities & the people to visit there from their lists. They will also put together the agenda fo our next meeting.
