Meetings to have on our calendars:

April 11, 9:00 to 10:30, at the Ostrander Auditorium at MSU, "7 Revolutions"

by Eric Peterson. We are cosponsoring this so that the public can attend for free.

April 26, "Why Eat Locally Grown Foods" . More information later.

Discussion:

Considerable discussion of the Cray House situation. Please continue to think of the opportunities and difficulties of preserving this building for the community. Can CV help & if so how?

Story Core: the folks working on this project will hold separate meetings to work on it. Tim will organize those.

There are several models of a project such as ours. We could use a kiosk in a place such as a county fair. A family member could interview a contributor in the home. We could also choose essential interviews, those persons who have made significant contributions to our community history.

Dave contacted the folks at Gustavus Adolphus who participated in the "River Bend" project a number of years ago. We should look at the material and see what could be incorporated in our Story Core project. More on that when he returns from Nebraska where he is watching the return of the sand hill cranes.

We need to establish a publicity group to design appropriate material for the newspaper and radio on the regional forums and other public meetings that we are sponsoring.

If you have experience or interest in this, please let Tony know.

Our next meeting is on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21, 7:30 AM AT THE COFFEE HAG.
