Present: Dave B, Tom, Jeanne, Tony, April, Ardie, Anne, Malda, Timothy Berry,

Next meeting is on November 29th, 7:30 am at the Coffee Hag.

Tom reported on items, relevant to CV, of the City Renaissance Committee meeting.

1. Greenhouse project - Jack Considine was very interested in pursuing the idea.

2. There was a discussion of a possible walkway across the river between the cities.

Tony & Anne reported on their visit with Sue Drayer of the Initiative Fund.

We probably could have a request of $5000 for our work honored by the Fund if we requested it in sufficient time to be funded in 2006. We must submit our projects of:

1. Regional Forum

2. Community Stories

3. Civility Training

4. Greenprint

Tony will write a draft application for money & run it by all of us.

Anne reported on her attendance at a civility training seminar featuring Lee Mun Wah. His topics included unlearning racism, training trainers, mindful facilitation.

Anne spoke of our need to have a home made curriculum for our region. How do we communicate in our community & how could we do so better. We need to set the ground rules.
