Citizens’ Voices Executive Committee meeting, 7/9/04, 7:30 AM at Coffee Hag

At the CV meeting this morning we came up with the work plan for the year based on the 6/19 meeting. (See attached)

The top 3 issues prioritized were:
Sustainability/Urbanization

Health/Obesity

Cultural Relations

The top actions were:

Continue the North Mankato Library Series (Steering Committee function- Deb may take the lead)

Voices Radio Program (Dave Engen, John, Deb and others interested)

Serve as a clearinghouse and calendar (Tony- web site; Malda will begin work on identifying groups)

The Report Card- (Bill and interested others)

Community Conversations- TV Show and larger forums (Kathy for TV and steering committee)

The plan is to work through the actions to cover topics on the issues identified for action. Anne will look for funding  (others can too) One letter of inquiry for funding for the radio program is out.

There was brief discussion of the Rasmussen issue and interest. Anne will pass on the contact info of the people interested for their action.
