CAN LOCAL BUSINESSES RUN BETTER, FASTER, AND CHEAPER?

Our business community faces increasing competition at home and around the world, and only those who employ better methods to reduce costs, gain customers and find new markets will survive. This workshop is an opportunity for business and community leaders to learn from the success of peers who run their businesses effectively, and to hear from experts in the rural entrepreneurship field. Participants will hear from southern Minnesota business leaders in retail, manufacturing and technology who have developed successful and effective business models and tools for financing growth.

Keynote speakers:

Deborah  Markley, Co-Director, The Rural Policy Research Institute Center for Rural Entrepreneurship.
Topic: What's Unique about Entrepreneurship in Rural Economic Communities?
